After this day of driving, we settle into our accommodations.
A still relatively unknown and authentic destination. A total immersion far from mass tourism

After this day of driving, we settle into our accommodations.

A warm-up on an easy course where we may encounter horses in semi-freedom and very likely deer which populate the area in large numbers.

What animals will we see today? Deer, birds of prey, wolves, bears? They are all here and with a bit of luck they will let themselves be observed without being disturbed.

We set off on foot from the hotel or almost to get lost in the beech forests, they will make you forget that there was a path to choose.

A special day awaits us, we will visit the village of Pescasseroli and also that of Scanno before taking a short hike to reach the viewpoint overlooking Lake Scanno.

Between the forests, lake, and waterfall, the day will be full. We'll finish with a visit to one of the valley's superb stone villages.

We'll hike around Monte Turchio and stop at the Ciccerana refuge if the bear allows. It has been present in the area for several years, so we'll get information from the park visitor center and if its presence is confirmed, we can leave it alone and observe it from a distance.

This trip is suitable for anyone in good physical condition. The hikes are adapted to the group and do not present any particular technical difficulties.
